Public Outreach

I took a group of philosophers of science to visit my old lab CENPA at the University of Washington while folks were in town for the PSA 2018. Many thanks to our hosts and guides for a fascinating and informative tour! Here are some pictures of philosophers visitng Eot-Wash, ADMX and the accelerator control room.

Siska De Baredemaeker and I recently gave a public talk titled "Space Oddities: How Philosophy Can Help Cosmology" at the historic Allegheny Observatory in Pittsburgh, with lots of David Bowie references (just for fun).

Launching the Philosophy of Astrophysics and Cosmology

The workshop was a great success!

Stay tuned for news coming soon regarding a philosophy of astrophysics and cosmology conference in Belgrade, summer 2018.
